67574 Advanced windows anti-spam

We are developing an advanced antispam project. Unfortunately NO programmer has been able to complete the first phase so far... We need an automatic layer intercepting .. scanning .. and releasing/blocking email messages. The layer should sit between the email client and the POP3/IMAP/SMTP server. It is crucial for the layer to AUTOMATICALLY intercept incomming and outgoing emails WITHOUT the user entering any email server details or modifying their email client settings. The application should work with Win 95 - XP and be compatible with any email client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Pegasus etc). It's similar to Norton Antivirus that scans incomming and outgoing emails for virusses (without interfering with the email client's settings). The full project (including several antispam mechanisms) is budgetted for around US$ 1500 and can be discussed after this initial phase is completed. I will not discuss next phases however before a demo of the first phase is completely done. It's obvious our budget is quite limited for such this specific project we can afford around US$ 500. The idea is to have an antispam filter that can be installed with 1 simple click and that is compatible with all kinds of clients. For this initial first phase I require: - Software that sits in the tray - Intercepting all ingoing and outgoing email traffic - Scanning this email traffic for a certain pattern (like **test** in the subject field) - Holding emails that mach a certain pattern - Releasing all other emails that do not mach the pattern to continue their original way - Releasing "held" messages by pushing a button so they continue their original way as well. - Full ownership of the sourcecode So far I had Russian, Ukrainian, Indian and English programmers accept this project and they all failed! Technically it is really challeging and there are no opensource "examples" online. I do not want to waste more time on waiting for people that finally discover they cannot do it so please make sure you can.
