Extend open source chat app Zulip [login to view URL] with additional features and capabilities We are adding business use features to Zulip chat. Zulip server code is written in Python Django using PostgreSQL as datastore. We will create our own frontend using Flutter Dart. This is not part of the scope of the project. Scope of project: - add/extend backend server code; - migrate datastore to Yugabyte (built on top of and almost 100% compatible with PostgreSQL) if possible; - integrate with our security measures; - horizontal and vertical scalability - use graph NoSQL OrientDB as datastore for messages - adopt microservices architecture The project is estimated to take 4-6 weeks for a highly competent and experienced developer. You will be assessed on your speed and performance every 2-3 days. Project may be cancelled at anytime for poor performance. One milestone when 60% of work is done - release of 30% of price agreed. Balance payment released after project completion, testing and meeting performance measures. Please describe your experience and expertise in Python Django. - don't say number of years of experience. Unfortunately, that does not mean anything - describe the most complicated business use project you worked on using python Django - not scientific, mathematical, AI projects, consumer websites etc. we are more interested in enterprise projects e.g. ERP, accounting, workflows etc.
