Our office primarily designs custom Shingle-Style homes in Long Island New York. We are looking for an experienced Revit modeler with specialized experience in architectural detailing. Your role: [login to view URL] with the team to take schematic design Revit models into design development to create Permit Set & Construction Set drawings. [login to view URL] existing models based on existing conditions documentation package: DWGs, on-site drawings, and photographs. Required Skillset: 1. High level of experience in residential architectural detailing. Our projects are all in Long Island, New York. Previous experience in this region or ability to detail for this region is highly preferred. New York State Residential Code & International Residential Code. 2. Ability to model complex residential forms within Revit on a shared file. We primarily design Shingle Style homes will need to be able to model complex roof forms & sweeps. Workflow is clocking in and clocking out of files. We do not use the workflow feature with simultaneous users in one file. 3. Ability to interpret & read architectural drawings, structural drawings, and perform MEP & structural coordination from linked Revit models and DWG or PDF overlay. 4. Ability to create a Revit model based on existing conditions documentation package: DWGs, on-site drawings, and photographs.
