I built a website for my business back in 2000 with Front Page using basic html. I'm looking to revamp my business website in order to make it more dynamic, easier to update & navigate, user friendly, faster, and appealing. What I'm looking to accomplish: I would like the website to be Dynamic, using php, mysql, .net, java, xml or whatever is best for my business. I also need a shopping cart, which currently I'm using paypal & ccnow. My website is currently [login to view URL] and is being hosted by [login to view URL] which allows for mysql and databases, but this can change to a different host under a different name if needed. I would like the name meanings backgrounds to be categorized and easily navigatable. One of the greatest things I would like in the upgrade of my website, is for the customer to be able to build their product online with a realtime quote to what the price will be and what the end product will look like. Example: Name Meanings section 1.) They type their name and it gives them the meaning (I have a program that does it currently) 2.) They can then see what it would like look on a particular background and the price would adjust 3.) They can then choose to put a Mat Frame on it and choose a color, which would adjust a realtime price for them with the upgrade and show them what it would look like with that feature update. 4.) They can then choose to put that inside a wooden frame and choose a color and then it would show them the finalized product of what it would look like when they get it, along with the a final price. I know this would require some coding, I have a database that has all the names and meanings, which I believe is currently inside microsoft access database. I would like the website to be built along side my current website so I can see the progress and work with the designers.
