OS X - Build a script/app with simple interface

INTERACTION BETWEEN : OPENOFFICE CALC AND APPLE MAIL Mac OS X OpenOffice v4.1.3 Apple Mail 7.3 (1878.6) Purpose : Script/application with simple interface. Need to execute in local on my machine (OS X 10.9) - Automatically send emails with Apple Mail from a list of emails in OpenOffice Calc. - Switching from different core messages based on a column (« Proposition1 » in Calc will pick up Text1, etc.) - Automatically edit the text selected by replacing specific zones by a Calc cell - Be able to send or not to send a specific attached document based on a row in Calc - The email message need to be able to integrate links, and html signature from Apple Mail - If a cell is empty = empty too in the message - Integrate a specific amount of time between each email sent, to avoid spam blocking The concept : Calc has multiples columns : email , name (Name), brand/work for (Var1), interaction with us (Var2), What we liked (Var3), Attach doc (Yes/No) Based on several (different) text messages pre-wrote, 1. The type of core message is automatically selected based on « PROPOSITION » column in Calc. Question : Texts needs to be stored, somewhere/where (can it be on Evernote)? 2. Open Apple Mail, automatically fill the right core message and replace variables (Var1,2,3..) of the message by Calc’s cells : The message is like this : Hello *Name*, you work for *Var1* and liked *Var2*, we love your *Var3*. 3. Attach - or not - the document, based on « ATTACH DOC » column 4. Attach my Signature (from Apple Mail) 5. Send email Interface : - Start and stop script - Store/Edit/Manage core messages (if possible?) - Manage/Edit time between each email sent (in seconds)
