I am trying to implement an Encryption / Decryption system within my Android application. But so far its going no where. There is a lot of deprecated methodes and documentation to start with. I maybe say it simple but I want a secure and simple method to encrypt and decrypt text messages and files(Photos). I prefer BouncyCastle library if its possible. This is what I come up with. ECDSA SECG - SEC 2 or Brainpool For ECIES I want to use P-521 elliptic curve for the public-key calculations and PBKDF2 for KDF function and AES-GCM for symmetric cipher and HMAC-SHA512 for MAC algorithm. If you know a secure method please let me know.
