Android Point of Sale Software

I would like to create an Android based POS application for restaurants, small food booth, small retail store or clothes shop etc. It can be chose as a standalone mode (data host locally) or in the future to add online mode (to save database on web server). Language: English and Traditional Chinese (Big 5) Such POS app is shown as below: [login to view URL] Requirements: 1. One Device MUST act as a "Server" hosting a MSSQL database that clients connect to. Typical installations have only one server or can be added up to 2-10 clients. We do not want a PC in the store and we want the data hosted locally or web server involvement. 2. Application must be able to print to a receipt printer (Similar to Epson TM-T20 - bluetooth or other ESC/POS command) as well as a Network printer (Epson TM-T88V Ethernet). Users can easily make configurations connecting thermal receipt printers (wifi or bluetooth), cash drawers (RJ-11), bluetooth barcode scanners and label printer (Wifi) and start to work immediately. A list of detailed hardware specifications will be given afterwards. 3. You will need to develop the UI that connects to our MSSQL tables. The primary screens initially include: a. Menu with item categories and menu items under those categories b. Manager screen with several sales reports c. Configuration screen to set up clients/printers/menu items/etc. d. Tender Screen that will allow a transaction to be cashed out or "tendered" e. Timekeeping screen to allow employees to clock in/out, managers to add/edit employees and adjust timekeeping. This is the basic foundation for our application. We plan on adding many additional features as soon as this "base" application is finished. There will be potential opportunities for future work including online ordering, pizza delivery, restaurant management, integration with security cameras, etc.
