It is the automation and control system project. This project consists of design and development of rotator for antenna positioning according to the desired azimuth. The basic principles need to be studied are speed control using the microcontroller, exact angle of position movement, and application to control the movement, position as well as stopping mechanism. To achieve better response, proper control algorithm needs to be developed and implemented on a microcontroller to provide the position control command.

I am an electronics and telecommunication engineer and my major is wireless systems' design. I can design a controller like this and a software to drive it from PC via usb and RS232 converter. So basically you give a comment from PC and the antenna turns in a degree that is given/required. Is it for airplane's weather radar or another application like farfield/closefield gain measurement for varaying degrees? Just give me all the details and I will do my best to help you.
