I have studied the philosophy of language extensively at Cornell University. My reading background includes a concentration in classical philosophy (including presocratic philosophers such as Anaxgoras, Gorgias, the Epicurean school, the Eleatic school (Zeno, Parmenides, etc), the obligatory Platonic and Aristotelian texts, Judeo-Christian and Neoplatonic thinkers, extending to Renaissance philosophers such as Giordano Bruno, Enlightenment philosophers like Kant and Descartes. I have also studied Existential and Modernist thinkers, including contemporary philosophy: Wittgenstein, Hume, Sartre, Foucault, Russel. Finally, I am up to date on contemporary work within the discipline, such as Bandura, Habermas, Giddens, etc. I minored in English, which I hope gave me a sense for a well balanced sentence, and clear, lucid syntax appropriate for philosophical work. I have access to jstor and a good number of reference books, by which I hope I would be able to help with any research required by the project. If you are interested, please message me with a basic outline of the work in progress, so I can gain an understanding of the scope and focus of what needs to be done. Thanks.
