During that period I have installed, administrate and maintain a large amount of various servers, such as Web Server (Apache, IIS), Mail Server (Postfix, Exim, MS Exchange), DNS Server (BIND, Unbound, MS DNS), etc., based on , FreeBSD, CentOS, RHL, etc. And of course I have a lot of experience in working with MS Servers and other MS products. Hi, Morning.. Your current setup 1. VPN to RDS on server based in the US. So the RDS Server seems to be in Private network. Perfectly fine (there is no public network involved right? because you need to connect via vpn to connect to RDS Server or there is interface to connect to RDS server via internet(public)?) 2. Firewall PF Sense. hope, VPN & https ports are open Here is the scenario, 1. Whenever your Australian IPs connect to RDS (assuming intranet) they would use US's public IP (to Which VPN gets connected) & then start a private connectivity to RDS Server/VDI Scenario, 2. If The RDS Server/Gateway is hosted on internet with US's IP ( just one IP for RDS-WebAccss/Gateway) which Australian IPs connect to, in such i don't see there is anyway you hosting your IP (austalian IP) to Us-RDS. Let me know if I misunderstood. We can probably have a quick chat to understand, of-course no project assignment until things are clarified & get a way to resolve and have a way to get the things done :) Thanks,

See my comment below: As i see in your task description, you need to orgonize NAT in US network, to get access to RDS server from one IP, after this (situation not clear), from Australia is everybody will connect to US server from one place office or from different places. If from one it's easy you can connect Australia->US from one IP in Aust to one in US. If you have questions pls contact me. THX Andriy

So if I understand your requirements well you have servers in US which are should be accessed from Australia. In this case, you do not need VPN, if you use RDS. You just need RDS, and you can log in to the servers through RDS Gateway with a simple Remote Desktop on the client (MSTSC). Security proven... connection goes to the RDS on 443 and you can specifiy which user can connect to which server. Also users can connect anywhere to server because 443 port is opened everywhere (i.e hotels).

You must have different Network addresses in your location Aust. and US. If I understand you have a static IP address in Aust and in US? So it is not so complicated to build up a VPN. Otherwise we can use a dynamic DNS function. The first step is to make a little Visio how to build up the VPN with IP addresses and ports. I Hope I can get the job Best regards Thomas
