Hello Pro Programmers we need this to be done in a good style with keeping an note that expansion for this project as well for future too..... coz client may be giving more features to be added later after this project... Below are the initial details given by client... Only Pro Programmers... No New Comers. Keeping the demo as the base line. The following are the requirements that we need to incorporate in our web application... . correct file name while downloading a file . File Categories are limited to voice and documents only (images and pdf not required at present ) Or we can have images and pdf for future expansion for document scanning project. . Restrictions on file types of voice ( *.wav, *.das, *.vox etc.) (details to be provided later) . Restriction on file types for documents (rtf and word documents) . Option to send the document directly to print. . Stored letterhead for each subscriber that may be selected while downloading or printing. . Selection of documents ( check box against each document) for multiple download and print options. . For uploading of voice file, option required to select the whole folder ( including sub folders) along with the individual files. . Voice file are not necessarily required to be stored in sql; we can have them directly upload to out server. Subscriber types: We have three types of users. . The users who can only search, checkout directory and download the documents. . the users who can search, access directory and view/edit/delete files and stores them. The rtf file downloaded need to be converted to the word format on a pre-stored letterhead of user. . Backhand users who upload files in bulk for the subscribers. Expansions . Feasibility required to be send files in HL7 format, if the client has HL7 installed. . Feasibility required to store documents in encrypted format.
