Basically, we want participants to call up, listen to 20 words being read out, and repeat as many of those 20 words as they can remember. We need to transcribe what they're saying using speech recognition software - using Twilio, Tropo or Plivo - and have it recorded on our database. The recording can either by number of words accurately recalled, or the raw transcript. The 20 words will be read out three times, with a delay between the 2nd and 3rd round of 20 minutes. I have a wordpress plugin that is using Tropo IVR and a voice transcription application. I have a developer that set this up and it was working fine and then out of the blue, the transcriptions are not coming through from the API we set up. I need a way to stream a sip call live using wowza media server. The ideal solution will involve a command line utility that runs on linux, dials into the sip call and pushes the audio out to something like vlc which can re-encode it and stream through wowza. Any other solutions are also welcome, as long as it can work without gui. We are actually using tropo to do the call hosting. So some experience with tropo would be very useful.
