Since WordPress 5.0 update, the shortcode dropdown within our WordPress theme is not working. There appears to be an update with TinyMCE or the way wordpress uses it now with the new block editors in which the dropdown configuration does not work. See attached image for how the dropdown looked prior to WordPress 5.0. Ideally I would like this to work in the classic editor plugin and one of the classic blocks in the new WordPress 5.0. I provide the code and the database of a sheet in PHP where HTML sheets are obtained and the editor is shown, the information contains text and HTML tables, I need to receive the information and save the changes in the SQLite database. I have referred to the code but it has an error, they can improve the code with the best practice or solve the problem. I think it's a detail of sending the html data type by ajax. The plain text if you save it, but if you aggravate a table, then it does not guarantee the changes in the database.
