I'm looking for someone to help me understand and effectively use JavaScript testing. Primarily, I need guidance on writing test cases, as well as setting up a test environment. I don't have a preferred framework, so guidance on the different options, such as QUnit, Jasmine, Mocha, react testing library and jest would be greatly appreciated. I'm not experienced with writing test cases or setting up test environments, so all the help I can get is welcome. Thanks for your time and expertise!

Hello, I have an ASP.NET MVC 2.0 project which has a custom javascript file. This functions to manage the reading, editing and deletion of a moderately complex entity. Ajax is utilised for all data reading and persistence. I am looking for proposals for refactoring this file to be fully object-oriented and automated test-driven; Jasmine, Knockout, QUnit are frameowrk options for me, but I am open to ideas.
