I'm currently using mplayer on Linux to convert a flv (audio only) file to mp3. The problem is that mp3 files are large, compared to m4a files. So I want to change the command so that instead of mplayer converting from flv to mp3, it converts from flv to m4a. In case mplayer cannot do this, we could use ffmpeg instead. My preference is to use mplayer, though, since I already have the command line set up for it. If you ask, I will provide the command line I currently have, so you can see the parameters.
