Build a site search microfrontend that developers can integrate into their apps/websites. The goal is to build something like a elasticlunr or js-search. The difference is that we need the search microfrontend to be extensible and standards compliant, framweork agnostic, web components based (). There are three main parts to search: indexing, retrieval and ranking. Users should be able to swap the default implementations for each of these functionalities with their own custom ones. Hence the DI/IOC style modularization requirement (). Your deliverable could just have a basic implementation of indexing, retrieval and ranking. Doesn't have to be fancy. I'll have one of the test scenarios cover advanced/custom implementations. However, your microfrontend architecture should

I require a search function (probably using ) to query a json result set. The json results are already prepared, and a basic search using is in place. However, we need boolean, and multiple field search results...not just full text. This must be done in the browser, using javascript/similar. Many thanks!!
