• Identifying appropriate use of AWS operational best practices.
• Estimating AWS usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms.
• Analyzing trusted advisory reports.
• Checking cloud trail logs.
• Enabling additional monitoring for memory, disk space and paging in cloud-watch.
• Handling booting issues through Amazon console.
• Migration of instances to dedicated host and between dedicated hosts.
• Attaching and detaching ec2 volumes.
• Managing Disk space and configuration, Adding & removing of physical volumes (PV’s) to volume groups (VG’s).
• Creating new logical volumes (LV’s).
• Identifying console and server logs.
• Day to day server management which includes Disk Management, LVM Management, Software installations.
• Keeps fs usage under threshold.
• User Account Creation, deletion, modification, User Disabling, Access rights, Sudo access etc.
• Installing new packages by rpm and yum.
