Hi there :) - Tell us about yourself. I am a motivated and energetic freelancer who likes to face and handle complicated and difficult tasks. i like challenges and dealing with different types of people and really appreciate the people who raise questions and "brain storming". - Tell us about your experience. I used to work as financial auditor. my career as financial auditor lasted for 5.5 years, 4 years working for KPMG as senior financial auditor and 1.5 years working for TAGI (a very well-known audit firm in ME) as junior financial auditor. After gaining and having a such experience, i decided to freelance my services as i feel more comfortable by "managing" myself instead of getting orders from others and do what they want me to do. i appreciate people's opinion and guidance but at some point i realized that i can do much more than what people and myself expect. During my career with KPMG, i was selected 8 times as the best auditor in the firm (a picture of my trophies will be provided). Although in all of the levels i presented, i had higher responsibilities. for example, when i was a senior financial auditor, i had to supervise some other clients while i am working on mine in addition to giving some training for new joiners and teach them the practical audit and accounting to add value to their theoretical knowledge. The portfolio i used to handle was compared to the portfolios the managers had, i never had a portfolio less than USD 5 million (starting from in-charge level). - Why you decided to freelance? This is one of my favorite question actually. I prefer to handle and manage myself to discover and explore my knowledge and the abilities i have. although my ex-employers were appreciating me a lot, but i felt that i never was appreciated. this was one of the main reasons for freelancing. Another reason for freelancing, i want to spend more time with my family and friends. the audit career is pressurized to unbelievable level. I really don't mind working for 18 hours a day but at the end, working for myself is totally different than working for others. My career as a freelancer taught me working on accounting software which was a lack in auditing career. as a freelancer, i learnt how to work on Quickbooks, Xero, Zoho and Wave Accounting. - Why we should choose you? I am experience, motivated, energetic and brain storming accountant and bookkeeper which provides high quality services can be compared with companies. I am not a time waster, if you look at my career and my achievements and how i manage my time, you would know me better. I provide answers and explanations to all your doubts and my role is not limited only to recording transactions but also explaining to the management accounting itself if required.
