I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with first class honours in English Lit. from the University of Waikato in New Zealand, a post-graduate diploma in secondary teaching (English) from the Waikato School of Teacher Education, and a Masters Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Auckland. I have over ten years experience in teaching writing and in writing. I have worked as a tutor of Undergraduate Lit. at Waikato University, as a High school English Teacher, and also as Teacher of English as a second language. I have worked as a freelance writer for Tearaway Magazine in New Zealand. I have written an academic paper for a Fulbright International American Studies Conference. I also work as a private tutor of writing and English and run an essay writing / proofing / editing service for all essay type writing from high school to undergraduate level. I have an outstanding ability to take any piece of writing and either improve it or edit it beyond recognition while retaining the original sense in its entirety. My personal writing interests are in Poetry and long fiction.
