Personal Profile including career highlights, and personal information This is to present Mario Farinato, a free-lance photographer based in Milan and Geneva, who is teaching both photojournalism and studio photography at Webster University in Geneva and in Leiden Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Mr. Farinato has been working professionally for several years, and I met him during the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva in December 2003, where he was one of the photographers reporting on the event. Since then, he has done numerous assignments both for news organizations and for private clients.
He also won the Picture of the Day award from the prestigious Corriere della Sera in Milan for his World Wildlife Fund glacier shoot.
His first book of photography was published late 2006 in London, by Daikinibook Ltd.
