A Systematic Review on Informal Learning of English Language via Facebook

Methods of learning have changed in the 21st century as the use of social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Blog is becoming popular. This paper aims to critically analyze and discuss scientific research on the informal learning of English language through one of these sites. It is hoped that this systematic review will advance our understanding of the necessary typical conditions for effective informal learning through networking sites.

Income and expenses are two of the indicators used to analyze the well-being of islanders on Perhentian
Island, one of the inhabited islands in Terengganu, Malaysia. The objective of this study is to determine the
changes in income and the expenses patterns of the Perhentian islanders. This study used qualitative method,
where three techniques were used to obtain data.

The tourism industry is an important resource which could lead to prosperity and better living for the
people, and education contributes significantly towards the alleviation of poverty and reducing inequality in
society. The objectives of this study are twofold. First, to examine the impact of the tourism industry on
children’s education on Perhentian Island, Terengganu and second, to better know what the children
think about tourism and education.
