I am a medical doctor and, currently working as a Medical Education Fellow at Central Scotland Training Centre – United Kingdom. My work includes:
- Full instructor for UK and international doctors in ALS, EPALS, APLS, GIC, ILS, PILS courses.
- Curriculum coordinator and instructor in PLAB1 and PLAB 2 courses.
- Coordinating courses affiliated with official awarding bodies like UK Resuscitation Council and Advanced Life Support Group
I worked as a Medical Coordinator for 2 years at an international Non-Governmental Organisation called Doctors of the World - Spain (Médicos del Mundo - España).
My tasks included:
- Contribute in the definition of operational strategy and drafting new project proposals.
- Contribute in the budgeting process of programmes and time scheduling of activities.
- Managed the technical aspect of the procurement process
- Ensure proper hand over and clearing process within the medical coordination team
- Contribute to negotiating, drafting and approval of tender documents and MOUs.
I have successfully finished my studies in Global Health MSc at the University of Glasgow, School of Social and Political Sciences. I am experienced in complex programme development and intervention design. I also work in health policy, healthcare management and health economics in Health technology assessment and wrote my dissertation around health and masculinity studies via a qualitative research approach.
I am just beginning my freelancing on upwork, however I worked as a freelancer through my network in the international NGO sector.
