I hired Hiren based on great reviews. He was very prompt and actively communicating. Since it was about actual product design involving circuit design and software development, he asked I pay as we move forward because he has to pay his team and it was big project. He showed diagrams, circuit design, and biggest of all milestones was he wanted me to purchase material for 5 prototypes. All in all after receiving more than $1,000 in milestones he just vanished. I waited for 6 months and no message. Then all of a sudden I got 5 messages sending apologies and "Will contact once I reach home and explain everything". I was glad he was alive. Then he is gone again for 2 months now. Complete waste of money. This whole idea of milestones is flawed. Coders working on big projects want to be paid as we move forward, but Freelancer does not have a way to get the money back. This whole platform is flawed.
