Administrative Coordinator

Currently, I'm an Administrative Coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering at Dalhousie University. As an Administrative Coordinator, I manage the Accounts Receivable reconciliation for the Faculty Receivables and the Centres within the Faculty. I assist with the quarterly and annual budget preparation. Prior to working in the Faculty of Engineering, I worked in Research Accounting in Financial Services at Dalhousie University as a Research Grants Administrator where I prepare financial reports for Tri-Council grants Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). Also, I was responsible for managing the accounts and letting research investigators know the balances in their accounts. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Saint Mary's University. I plant to pursue my CPA designation in the near future.
