Consumer Lending Enhancements
Client : Alpha Bank, Greece
Description
Flexcube is a leading banking solution worldwide across the globe. This product provides complete automation of retail as well as corporate banking. Consumer lending is a module under Flexcube product which is responsible for the consumer loans management.
Query Logging System: As per the requirement, the system was to be enhanced to capture the records accessed and keep the record log and field modification log for action events like Modify, Add, Close, and Authorize, Reopen and View action event. The requirement was to record the key id of the record, user id, timestamp of access.
Reversal of a CL Account Disbursement: Enhancement to reverse the disbursement of amount in a CL account was done by reversing all the accounting entries and deleting certain entries and keeping a log of each event and retrieving it on reversal. Error handling was also done as a part of this enhancement.
BWCM Handoff Generation: BWCM is Bank Ware Capital Management, handoff files, in
ASCII format were generated based on the requirement.
Role : Team Member and Developer
• I was involved in the analysis and design of the frontend forms required to generate the handoff files and also to design the logic of the backend flow.
• I was also responsible for writing functional and design documents.
• I was responsible for coding and implementation and also in providing user training.
• I was also involved in preparing the test scripts and unit testing for various business scenarios, the purpose of the same to deliver high quality deliverables.
• I was responsible for checking in files related to various modules using VSS and Flexmart (Version Management Tool).

Consumer Lending Enhancement
Client : Alpha Bank, Greece
Duration : 3 months (15th Nov 2007 to 13th Feb 2008)
Description
Enhancement of an interface system for sending data to the BANK ANALYZER software. Bank Analyser is a system for implementing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting. It receives the data from the various legacy systems of the bank and passes adjustment entries to the new system as per the IFRS accounting requirements.
The development involved analyzing and deriving various customer and account data obtained from the consumer lending module of Flexcube and updating/storing this data in the required format in ASCII files.
Role
• Involved in Analysis, Coding, Designing and Implementation. Writing Functional, Design Documents and providing user training.
• I have also worked as an onsite co-ordinater for 2 months and was involved in various meetings and discussions with the client.
• I was involved in providing production support for the consumer lending module of flexcube.
