Global Press is recruiting freelance oral interpreters to add to our on-call talent network. Global Press is expanding its Sri Lanka news desks’ production, requiring additional oral interpretation capabilities to support our Sri Lankan reporters. We need an expert interpreter to help interface between Global Press editors and reporters in English and Sinhala.
Freelancers in the Global Press on-call talent network are paid by the article and are typically given 24-48 hours turnaround time. Freelancers specify the amount of work they are looking for, and work closely with Global Press’ assignment editor, lead editors and reporters to produce ethical, accurate and locally-sourced news.
