I am looking for a long Term Development Partner, I have Three Phase Project that I am building out. I would Like to Build this database Using Linux, Apache, MySQL,PHP. as I have used this before and it has worked terrific. If you have a alternative suggestions i will listen.
In this initial phase I hope find a partner that has an attention to detail in the following areas.
1) I have a very specific visual design in mind, Logo, color scheme, Layout, banners Font. I need someone who can follow my specific needs and instructions!!! as I create this first step Phase 1,
2) I want to build this on a Robust LAMP platform because phase three will include Voice over IP, Video Conferencing, and will need to scale. I need a someone to progam this in a very clean and user friendly way.
This Phase 1 will not be a complete project, it is just that a first step as we create a new system. I am flexible, my goal is to get the proper exact Visual design and basic functionality started in this Phase 1. Please no High bids I have a set budget for this initial phase as I would like to get a feel for your skills as well. The later phases will be at a higher cost.
I would like to build Phase 1 of a social Networking/ Educational networking Site.
This Phase 1) should have the following funtionality (Almost Identical to [url removed, login to view] functionality)
1) Sign In/ Registration Page, Basic personal information Imputs, Photo upload. 3 pages.
2) Home Page, Including internal Email messaging, Friend list, add friends etc, Database Search capabilities, Invite external users using basic Email adresses.
3) Profile Page, Personal Data imput, About me, education, Interests, and editing functionality.
4) News Feed Page that includes links from external Periodicals, Economist/ NY times etc, as well as Video clips, youtube etc. With mini Blog functionality similar to Facebook news feed.
The visual desgin will be very similar to facebook and Simple, clean. total od aprox 7-10 pages for this. However I need most of the facebook functionality for the above mentioned areas. no need for others. The final Site will be essentialy a social networking site with emphisis on Creating Groups, around specific news articles form third party journalism sites. Newsweek, WSj, etc.
