OpenBSD router type shell needed

I would like something like nsh ([url removed, login to view]~chris/nsh/) but that works with the OpenBSD base system instead of replacing lots of functionality. Or like how Check Points Secure Platform works. Specifically, it needs to:

* Configure an OpenBSD system from scratch into a usuable system with the aspects of basic router functionailty.

* Add/delete/show/flush/monitor IP routes

* Configure interfaces for IP, MTU, VLAN, media, ...

* Configure bridge for members, rules

* Confiigure hostname, DNS, ntpd settings

* Configure sysctl settings for ip forwarding and no DBD hangs

* Display a "show running" that can be captured and pasted into a fresh system to recreate the exact config (major drawback of nsh)

* Use sudo for privilege escalation so that the shell can be launched as a user and then "enable" to "sudo shell" and launch the shell as root with all privileges

* Have getline/readline command line completion and cisco "?" type inline help.

* Be modular so that it can be extended with more modules if needed.

This little program (probably pfsh) will most likely be released to everyone using BSD type license. I've just wanted to have something like this for a long time and it's not something that I nessecarily want to keep as a business secret. It would be great for everyone if someone could built this.

## Platform

The target operating system is OpenBSD 3.8. My preferred language would be Ruby but running as a shell, it might need to have an element of C, I don't know.
