I am looking for an experienced Joomla developer to customize the "Joomla Music Box" music portal extension ([url removed, login to view]) such that it works on Joomla 1.5. This component is a great tool for building music portal sites using Joomla but the original developer has apparently fallen off the face of the earth and has made no updates to it in a few years and thus it does not work on Joomla 1.5. I have Joomla and the Music Box component installed on my server but there are several bugs since the component does not run on Joomla 1.5. This project is simply to fix the problems with Joomla Music Box so that it works on Joomla 1.5 in my particular environment. Special consideration will be given to those who have specific "Joomla Music Box" experience. Thanks.
The requirements for this project have changed somewhat. The need now is to find someone expert in the customization of Joomla templates. I would like a site that has the basic look, feel, and functionality of www.mp3.com. We are creating a Music Portal community that features profiles of musical artists, enables purchasing of digital downloads, and features Social Networking functionality to enable interaction among the user community. I have the basic Joomla components that enable this functionality but need someone to customize the look and feel to resemble www.mp3.com. Thanks.
