Virtual Server auto boot to VM client on machine

I would like to install a virtual server on my laptop and boot directly into the running Vitual Machine, likely running some flavor of windows.

What would you suggest would be the best Virtual Server to install? KVM, VItualBox or Xen?

Main question: per selection - how would I configure (on machine power on) the Vitual Machine and Client to boot directly in boot up sequence to the configured VM?

If possible to do this as a bare-metal VM server booting directly to the VM, that would be the most ideal - but I am not apposed to running a very lite Linux OS to then auto load into the VM as long as that can be scripted in an automatic fashion.

End Deliverable should be a downloadable image to configure boot to a Virtual Machine in whatever deliverable, may it be a baremetal VM Server, or Linux Lite. Instructions on how to setup and manage.

Before I select someone to do this project, I would like to see how you would suggest delivery and timeline.

Can you expand a little further on how you would make it work for VirtualBox? What version of Linux would you use?

Also, do you see any challenges - any reason that you would think that this would not work?

Can you expand on your experience in this area - why do you feel that you have the expertise to accomplish this?

The target Guest OS will be Windows 7, and later Win XP. I figure if Win7 can work, XP would also.

Ideally, I need 2 Guest OS's running, but a "primary" so to speak to boot the display to. The other would run in the background. The second OS would be like Ubuntu Server. In the future, I would like to see the Windows Server 2008 Command Line version be possible.
