We are building an online page to display some products from our company. We have a Photoshop design of what the page should look like and how it should function. We need someone to code this and make it functional. There is no back end coding required, only front-end. Please see requirements below.
- General Concept: The page will display a series of 'screens' each with information about one product. The user will click or swipe to view the different products. Clicking on a product will enlarge the screen so the user can view details about the product and get more information.
- Coding Languages: The page can be built in whatever you are comfortable with, probably a combination of CSS, JS and HTML. Use any available libraries to speed up the process.
- Deliverables: The project will be delivered as a .zip file containing all files needed to run the page.
- Provided: We will provide the design as a Photoshop file with elements in layers to use in your design. Will also provide all original artwork used in the design. If there is a plugin or library that will help with development we can purchase that for you.
1. Background:
- Background is a static image provided in the design.
2. Scroller:
- The initial view shows 5 'screens' arranged in a circle going around the viewer. The screens should have some perspective (similar to this: [login to view URL] but towards the viewer instead of away).
- The user can switch between screens in three ways: Click Prev/Next buttons, Swipe, Click a screen to the left or right
3. Buttons:
- The two buttons at the bottom right "Live Chat" and "Schedule an Appointment" should bring up a modal when clicked.
- For now he modal can be empty, this functionality will be added later.
4. Zoomed in View (after clicking a product)
- The product 'screen' will enlarge and the background will fade out
- Clicking the background will zoom out the 'screen' and return to the 'scroller' view
- The 'scroller' view has an image of the product. On the zoom that should be replaced with a YouTube video. Use a simple transition animation for this switch.
- Product Brochure: This button would download a PDF file
- Key Features: A scrollable box with text in it
5. Products to add:
- There will be 10 total screens each with a different product.
- I will provide the content for each product: Product Image, Video, PDF, Key Features Text
6. Responsive:
- The page needs to be fully responsive to display on different devices.
7. Able to add new products:
- We need the ability to add more products in the future.
- Your code style should account for this. Mainly, we should be able to add more elements to the scroller and the javascript will be able to recognize those. It could perhaps be coded as an unordered list with each <li>[product info]</li> element containing the data for one product.
