I am a trained Translator with linguistic expertise. I have translated Professor Tidjani-Serpos: collection of French written poems AGBAN'LA into English as AGBAN'LA. My linguistic expertise is evident in my thesis titled UNE ETUDE COMPAREE DES SYSTEMES PHONOLOGIQUES DU FRANCAIS ET DE L'URHOBO. Because of my...I am a trained Translator with linguistic expertise. I have translated Professor Tidjani-Serpos: collection of French written poems AGBAN'LA into English as AGBAN'LA. My linguistic expertise is evident in my thesis titled UNE ETUDE COMPAREE DES SYSTEMES PHONOLOGIQUES DU FRANCAIS ET DE L'URHOBO. Because of my linguistic knowledge I am able delve into the culture al and historical aspects of the two languages that I have to work with and produce a translated piece of work that is quite akin to the original. I am also a Writer, a Teacher of French and English languages and an Academic Researcher. I am also a Reviewer. I have reviewed several articles for Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies. Before now, I was a Tutor at the Delta State University Secondary School. Then I went on to the College of Education, Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria. While I was lecturing there, I took on my studies for Master in Translation at the University of Benin. That's how I got my training in translation. Equipped with my Masters degree in Translation, I came back to the Delta State University, and here, I lectured for many years in the Department of Languages and Linguistics, teaching basic French to science students. Here also, I published a manual for counting in French titled COMPTONS A VINGT-ET-UN / LETS COUNT TO TWENTY-ONE. While here, I still continued my studies. I went on to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria. January 15, 2015, I defended my thesis titled UNE ETUDE COMPAREE DES SYSTEMES PHONOLOGIQUES DU FRANCAIS ET DE L'URHOBO. I finally retired from active lecturing November 2018. Since then I've run KE-IIAN DIGITALS , a language consultancy outfit. Here, we teach French, English and Urhobo languages. (Urhobo is my native language. It is spoken in the South-south region of Nigeria. It is one of the languages in danger of extinction. Therefore, I am particularly interested in keeping it alive. That is why I teach it. And I am glad that the Urhobo people in diaspora are keenly interested in learning it.) In Ke-iian Digitals, we edit articles and projects. We review articles as well. I've not done much online, but I hope to do Freelancer proud when I begin to get jobs. Oh, I'm excited to add that I just concluded a TEFL Universal online course. The soft copy of the certificate has also been sent to me. mindre
