For an animated documentary entitled, The History of Chess, I was contracted to be the Character Designer. I was responsible for designing and illustrating 100+ characters (animation-ready for After Effects) and backgrounds in the short period of 3 weeks. These characters were all drawn by myself with some guidance regarding the visual style that was outside my usual ability. This project proves that I am able to illustrate in a variety of styles, interpret feedback well to cater for specific needs, as well as prioritise tasks effectively to deliver a big project on time without sacrificing quality.

I love to visualise new ideas and experiment with concepts and techniques in both traditional and digital media. I like to play with characters the most. I have a good eye for detail, meet the tightest of deadlines and am always challenging myself to make my art more dynamic and unique. 'm currently doing a Masters in Digital Media (3D CGI Animation), putting my ever-evolving passions into practice. Eventually I want to work full-time as a visual storyteller in many fields, whether in Illustration or Animation. I also possess skills in video editing, particularly non-linear, journalistic styles as what is prominent in wedding videography presently.
