Technical Recruiter

Hummingbird is a WordPress product and Magento Services company. We build and maintain WordPress Plugins & WordPress Themes, used by thousands of users around the world. We also build world-class e-Commerce solutions on the Adobe Magento platform for businesses around the world.

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team on contract, or as a freelancer to manage our recruitment efforts for both for WordPress products and Magento services.

Proven experience in managing recruitment in the technical and software domain is essential. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Hiring Needs: Meet with Human Resources to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and available positions within the company

Align With Technical Needs: Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified tech team to support the organization

Drill Down on Hiring Needs: Participate in meetings with hiring managers to determine vacant tech-related positions and the preferred attributes for potential hires

Screening Prospects: Using standardized screening techniques, Assess the skills, qualifications and experience of hopeful candidates

Conduct Interviews: Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements

Feedback: Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications

Complete Paperwork: Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately

TECHNICAL RECRUITER REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's of science or human resources degree.

A good understanding of technology and technical skills.

Experience in recruitment processes and platforms.

Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
