Hi,
This is an odd piece of software, but very useful for me... it's automating a work flow that currently I have to do manually. I cannot always be home to do this hence the automation requirement.
This is the basic work flow:
1. Software reads given emails in my Inbox (copy of emails given for programming purposes)
2. If I receive email from a given person the email is read and certain details extracted from it (horse racing details, for bet placement)
3. Software then uses these details and places a bet with either Betfair (through API) or with certain bookmakers (UK main ones - Ladbrokes, William Hill, etc.).
4. There will be conditions, so if a given price is not available with Betfair the software automatically places bets with bookmakers.
5. Bets placed are confirmed and logged. Any problems are logged.
If you are seriously interested please do contact me, but Betfair API programming knowledge will be a big advantage for the programmer.
