Stress Testing Web Application

We are looking for someone that is experienced in stress testing to run some tests on our web server/web application. The application is ASP/COM/SQL Server 2000. We have one server running IIS 6 and one server running SQL 2000.

We want to determine how our servers/application will scale when multiple users begin hitting it. We want to know what a maximum concurrent user count would be before we would need to add another IIS server and load balance.

We want to test simulating when a user hits the home page, clicks on a link to go to a log on page. Enters a username/password and then clicks the submit button to log on.

Questions:

1. What type of reports to do you provide? We would like to see a sample report.

2. Do you need root level access to our server?

3. Based upon the results of your testing, will you be able to clearly explain to us what the results mean? Or will you just provide a canned report that we'll have to interpret?

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
