Hello,
We are looking for a very simple project, to create a standalone binary that will be nothing more than an embedded Internet Explorer that has hardcoded a specific URL to goto. We have already coded this program in AutoIt, but on compiling the code into a binary, we've found out that this scripting language commonly gets antivirus flags in [url removed, login to view] so we cannot use that code (Hello World example sets off 3-5 AV warnings).
As a result, we are looking to re-code this program in a real programming language. Your code must do the following:
Create a 760x600 window (cannot resize the windows once loaded), centered on the desktop. Within the window, create an embedded version of Internet Explorer that is hardcoded to go to a specific URL. When embedding IE, you must make sure the version of IE that is embedded is the most recent version that the user has installed on their PC. All IE controls should be disabled (back/forward, etc. this can be done by using IE in kiosk mode). Your program should display a generic "Loading..." string that will be shown to users until IE has fetched the page (monitor ReadyState), once its been fetched, your program will then remove the Loading message and insert the embedded IE browser. The program must also be able to detect if Flash (ActiveX version since we're using Embedded IE) is installed on the current machine. If it is not installed, continue to load as above, but on loading we would like a windows popup message to appear requesting the user download flash (Ok/Skip buttons). When they click OK, it will pop open a specific url (Flash download page), if they click Skip, just return to the main program. Your final program must run as "User" not administrator.
You may not use dependencies or requirements that are not by default installed on a user's computer. For example, you cannot use .net framework as a PC may not have this installed. Your code must work on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1.
We want this programmed in Windows C# or any other language that is available and can be compiled with MS Visual Studio 2010 or 2013 (Standard). Please advise on which language you intend to code this in when submitting a bid.
Before bidding on this project, please make sure you create a sample exe for yourself and upload the binary to [url removed, login to view] to ensure your final exe is not flagged as malware.
I have enclosed below a sample exe that we had coded in AutoIT. You can use this as a guide to replicate what we need. Its crucial we avoid AV warnings, this is the AV report for the sample exe we included (false positives): [url removed, login to view]
