Part 1: Salesforce App Configuration
We have a current Salesforce org with a single admin user (no other user accounts currently) that is used internally for all business function tracking. Requirements are:
Several objects that have already been configured need to be separated into it's own Salesforce app (in the same org)
Hierarchy/User Provisioning: One additional user needs to be provisioned with specific access/restrictions to access and modify the data
Part 2: External Access
We need a client-facing version of the database embedded on our website. The clients will need credentialed access to the website where they will be able to access and search the following information in READ-ONLY format:
First Name
Last Name
Organization
Certifications
Approval Type
Date of test or waiver
Certificate number
Position / Title
Certificate #
We'll also need the ability for ONE external user to have the ability to modify 3-5 fields from the external facing database
External users should be able to search on first and last name and by Organization
Cost is a key factor here so we'd like the credentialed access to not require a license, if possible (I'm not sure if Salesforce Communities would be a viable solution). We'd like any solution proposed to detail what additional cost may be incurred by Salesforce (i.e. licensing costs).
The internal database would need to track the external access.
We will need documentation for this project once completed.
