Automata theory plays a vital role in numerous areas particularly in game style an

implementation.

Sliding puzzle, this project describes the concept of automata theory in designing of the puzzle

game.

Sliding puzzles are two-dimensional. The pieces cannot be lifted out the frame or rearranged in

any way, except by sliding them into an empty space. They are also called sliding block puzzles

or simply sliders. In the game the sliding puzzle represented in DFA form takes input alphabets,

states (position of the game) .etc. The puzzle will be randomized in the initial state. In each state

q (n), n -represents the number of tiles in the correct position.

Incase there is a correct tile moved to a wrong position (input: wr) the game will revert to the

previous state. Finally till the q(8) it will be played , where all the number are in the correct

position.

As a result, we can conclude the automata theory plays a crucial role in designing and

developing game!

Implementation of the game will be done in jflap software.
