Mortgage Professionals Providing Hope (MPPH) is looking to build a WordPress multisite to house its core website as well as individual sites that document our corporate partners' goodwill.
We have put together a design proof that communicates the look and feel we are interested, though, as we are most concerned with securing the functionality we desire, we are willing to develop a child theme that is similar, if not identical, to said proof.
Organizationally, MPPH works with nonprofits around the world to develop one-time projects that we then fund by advertising them—through our website—to mortgage companies and professionals.
As such, our team needs to be able to easily create and edit project pages either through the WP admin panel, or through a front-end application.
Similarly, we need to be able to develop a child theme that can be applied to new sites on the network for each of our corporate partners. This theme needs to be able to be customized to reflect our partners' corporate colors and branding.
We also need to integrate a shopping cart into the core site so that donors can either donate a pre-determined amount, enroll in a monthly donation program, or make a one-time donation of an amount of their choosing.
We would like to be able to develop individual donor dashboards so that they can review how much they have donated and when, and so that we can honor them with badges for various accomplishments (BadgesOS may be a solution). That said, we recognize this may be easier said than done, and are willing to work around this sort of advanced functionality for now.
Lastly, the site needs to be responsive, it needs to be able to support layered sliders, and it needs to be easy for our team to update and for users to navigate.
