Appcelerator Titanium Project

We need help to speed up the finalization of an application for iOS and Android written in Titanium Appcelerator (Alloy). The app rely widely on a PHP/MySQL server to get info such as text, content, categories, images, prices, etc. This info is then downloaded by the app, saved as a series of Alloy models and shown to the user. Notably this application is centered on proximities technologies with beacons and iBeacon devices. The app gets the geolocation of the device, has a qrcode plugin that read and decode links to act with the server. Users connect with facebook and they have a field that we could call “score” or points that can be used on the app to perform actions, pictures present in the app are saved first as a URL in the Alloy model and then downloaded when requested.

The application is almost finished, it must just be finalized. The functionalities that works now are:

– Login/logout with facebook (is missing the login with user and password that is already implemented on the server but must be connected on the app). 


– Connection with the server's database and saving on app.

– Listing for categories and offers

– Filters, GUI and categories/offers presentation

– Beacon interaction (in a second project for testing, must be pasted back)

– Qrcode reader and link handling (the latter is finished and tested while qrcode is in a second

project for testing).

– 75% of the GUI.

As you can see what remains to do is a finalization of the GUI and the migration of Beacon and QRCode interaction from a clean testing project to the main one main one (is missing also the GUI for the user/password login on app, as said the server is complete). After this testing and a couple of small details will finalize the project.

The reason to get in touch with us is not only to finish the project but to learn how the app works so to be able to implement new functionalities and deliver updates in the long run.

A couple of details have been omitted but would be explained in detail after signing a simple NDA. The skills required are mostly for Titanium development for iOS and Android, while OOP PHP (with Slim framework) and MySQL could help managing the server.
