Custom WordPress Plugin For Auto-Blogging, Similar To WP-O-Matic

I need a custom WordPress plugin that will allow for auto-blogging, similar to WP-O-Matic ([url removed, login to view]); it is a WordPress plugin that aggregates RSS feeds and displays them on a single blog. It is possible the winning bidder could take WP-O-Matic and expand upon it's ability, but there are issues I have with the plugin and it differs from what I NEED for my use.

WP-O-Matic displays entire articles from a feed in an RSS. I only want to show excerpts from each post from each feed, regardless of the length of the post. A good amount would be a paragraph or so. Also I would like to have an image thumbnail that is made from a picture included in the original post. This should be automatically resized and included in the post on MY WordPress site.

It should be expandable to as many feeds as I would like to add (hundreds) and much like WP-O-Matic each post should have a permalink back to the original post under the excerpt copy.

A good example of how the data should be displayed is [url removed, login to view], however I would like to format my images better.

This is for a WordPress site and it is a WordPress plugin. Not a stand alone script or anything of the sort. You should preferably have previous WordPress experience, an understanding of RSS feed aggregators and knowledge of how a plugin like WP-O-Matic and auto-blogging scripts work.
