ActiveX open Folder

We need a small ActiveX control written to open a folder on a Client machine in Windows Explorer.

I.e, when clicking a link on the website, the web app should pass a UNC path to a ActiveX control running on the client machine,

eg, web app passes Client UNC Path \\SERVER\SHARE\FOLDER

THe control should check to see if the folder is accessable and create it if not and then open it in a Windows Explorer window on the client machine.

I need a small class written pass the UNC path, initiate the ActiveX control.

This should be written in C# in VSS2008 or 2010.

The overall solution needs to be presented as a test web page with a textbox to enter a UNC pach, a button to open the target folder.

I would then expect to see the activex control be downloaded and executed resulting in Windows Explorer opening the target folder.

If I was doing this in vbScript, it would look something like the attached.
