File Rotator Script

I need a script that I can install on my server that will rotate a different HTML file (held in a folder in my root directory) each time the script is called from another HTML page (i.e. a webpage also in the root directory). The code used on the webpage to call the script should ideally be a SSI include command.

e.g. a file in the root directory holds several HTML files. When a viewer or SE robot visits a webpage the SSI command requests one of the HTML files which is then integrated into the webpage as content.

If the browser is refreshed or webpage revisited then a new HTML file will be called. To the viewer or SE robot it will appear as fresh content.

Each time the script is called, either from the same webpage being refreshed or revisited or a different webpage being visited, a different HTML file will be called from the last to be shown.

I already have a script that rotates files but a new file is only called if the same webpage is refreshed or revisited. Other web pages show the same original file unless they are also refreshed or revisited - this appears as the same content across all the webpages until one or more is refreshed or revisited.

i.e. if the folder contains several HTML files named [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL],..etc. Every webpage starts off with [login to view URL] until it is refreshed or revisited then [login to view URL] will be called etc.

It is vital that this script overcomes this by pulling a new HTML file every time a new page is visited and the script is called.

e.g. the first webpage is visited and [login to view URL] is called. A second webpage is visited and [login to view URL] is called. The first webpage is revisited and [login to view URL] is called etc.

Once every html file has been called at least once then the list will restart from the beginning and each file will be reused again.

There should be no limits to the number of html files that can be held to be called.
