Need assistance to fix a Magento custom extension

I need some assistance to modify a custom extension developed on my website ([url removed, login to view]). I don't want to use anymore the past developer, so I'm looking for a new one.

This extension is able to save some custom options in a table for every users, so these users will be able to re-use them buying in the various products without re-inserting them every custom options.

1) Understanding as this extension is working

2) There is a bug because the custom options seems to be saved, but in the product page these custom options will not appear compiled correctly. The extension use jquery to compile them.

The first point, understanding as the extension is working, is very important because I really need someone that want to take the assistance for this extension.
