We have a chat system done in php. Now it has 3 frames, 1 for banner, 1 for some status & 1 is the main chat window & all of them refresh. the banner one & status one does'nt make much difference but when the main chat window content refresh & sometimes it takes a while to refresh that is very annoying. What 1 of the consultants has suggested is that No refresh of full content... you can make 2 frames for the main chat frame: with chat tape and new message form. Chat tape frame will refresh by timer and message form is static. use 0-frame which will refresh Chat tape frame and ask for new messages only, and then push them to the message form. Other suggestion was server push method in php. I need someone to suggest me the best solution for this & then work on it. You will be given existing source code (which is ofcourse ordered but not commented at all). you may not have read this whole description & may be a spam bidder & to convince me you've read this, add the word bmw in your bid comment. For a php guru, it will not take more than 1-2 hours to understand how the things are going & this needs to be finished up ASAP & will be started off immidiately on finding someone right for this task. Please suggest me a solution to this & then let's start. If you may have any questions, feel free to ask.
