Awk programming

Write a shell script (which will contain awk programs) to creat a file operations utility. At a minimum, the shell script should do the following. 1. display a menu with at least four options 1) List 2) Archive 3) Junk 4) Purge 2. the next prompt will say List|Archive|Junk|Purge What? 3. the user may now enter the directory or files to process such as: /home/mystuff or /home/mystuff/*.c 4. the list options will list specified files showing at the end the total bytes in files (but not directories) for each owner: jones 123654 bytes Root 142342 bytes Smith 3432 bytes 5. the archive option will create a tar archive on (prompt for the archive device) of the files specified. List fiels and confirm before the tar. Report at end number of files and bytes archived 6. The junk option will move specified files to /home/tmp/junk (creat if it does not exist), and append a junk suffix to the filename. List and confirm before the move. Report number of files and bytes junked 7. Purge will purge (rm) specified files from the /home/tmp/junk directory. Report, confirm, etc... 8 Print appropriate message if any of the files or directories do not exist.

Must operate on a Linux system.
