Joomla Rss import plugin

Summary:

We are looking for someone to create a joomla plugin for our newsfeed website/news aggregation website. The website should import rss feeds and display stories from a number of online web magazines and display the newsfeed and a thumbnail picture by rss on our page. After logging in on our joomla site, visitors shall have the possibility to comment as well as "digg" the feeds. The design and functionality should be like to digg.com.

When the project is completed, we should be able to just go into our joomla site and install the plugin, and everything should just work.

Please do not bid on the project if you're not 100 % certain that you will be able to make all the functions we require.

Description:

In joomla backend, we want to be able to add rss sources (as many as we like) and put them in different categories, which we can create. We then want to output the categories we specify in the joomla frontend. Since we will have several categories, we need to be able to create many pages, that later will be linked to the top menu, with a single category on each page.

The output should look like [url removed, login to view], where the user can both "digg"; the rss feed and comment on it. The image should be converted and outputted as a thumbnail.

When the user press comment, he/she should be directed to a separate page specific of that topic. The comment and digg system need to be integrated with joomla's login system, and require the user to be logged in to post comment and digg rss feeds.

We also need to specify how many rss feeds should be on each page before the pagination (which we'll need) should kick in.

The plugin should automatically scan for new feeds at an interval we specify. It should also remove the feeds from the database that's no longer exist in the rss sources we have specified.

We also need the option the have a ranking page where the most "digg" or "most commented" topics will be displayed in order.
