A Java RMI Proxy to Abstract a Google Web Service Objective: Create a proxy service, accessible via RMI, HTTP or SOAP that enables users to perform a Google search or spell check(both must be available. The remote interface should define a number of methods for querying Google, such as a Google Search or spell check. the remote interface implementation should use the google API in conjunction with apache axis to create a SOAP-based back-end service. the google methods described by the remote interface should be accessible to java client applications using standard Java Remote Method Invocation, SOAP or HTTP. Requirements: - Create a client application that allows a user to perform an internet search and spell check. - client application should be capable of using RMI, HTTP and soap to contact a remote object that abstracts the search and spell check. - the remote object should use SOAP messaging, via the google API, to perform the actual search and spell check. - the results should be returned to the user and displayed in the client. the fact that a google search/spell check was used should be completely hidden from the end-user. Delivery 1. A [url removed, login to view] must be included detailing the installation instructions and features of the application. 2. A directory called src should contain the source code for the application. Bonus - a bonus will be applied for any Object Oriented Design, Server Side Enchancements & Client Side Enhancements over and above the requirements outlined above.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
