Program For Sorting and Finding Files

This software program has a very familiar look for average users, so it is written in Vb. Net and supports all the standard features of Microsoft Office. All the forms are already designed, code is about 50% completed.

Application should work on all later versions of Windows and for all later versions of major browsers.

The architecture of this program is object-oriented and utilizes modules for coding, so it can be easily fixed and improved and new functionality could be easily added when needed.

The application should help users to easily find and categorize any of the user files stored on the computer,including software files, pdf files, audio and video files, favorites, etc., based on different search criterias (but application is not responsible for finding/categorizing system files). Search algorithm will be disclosed to the winning bidder.

When initially installed, application should help user to automatically categorize all the files based on the categories pre-defined in the application or user-defined categories.

When user downloads a new file, application will help define whether this file was previously downloaded on the computer, based on the proprietory algorithm.

Algorithm will be disclosed to the winning bidder only.

If the product was downloaded before - warn the user and display possible match.

If user decides to proceed with download, give him/her the ability to store detailed information about the product for future reference and automatically suggest the category for the new product based on the number of criterias. Criterias will be disclosed to the winning bidder only.

Additional Tab on the application is used to display recommended resources.

RAC only allows 2000 characters description, so we couldn't place all requirements here. Enclosed is the file with additional requirements,they have to be considered necessary part of the description.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
